Veterinary Specialty Center of Stillwater: Compassionate Care Meets Specialized Expertise

Corgi

Veterinary Specialty Center of Stillwater (VSCS), is dedicated to providing advanced surgical and diagnostic services for dogs and cats. Our veterinary specialists work collaboratively with your primary care vet to achieve the best outcomes for your pets.

What Is a Veterinary Specialist?

Sometimes, pets need specialized attention. That's where veterinary specialists come in. While all vets have extensive education, veterinary specialists undergo four additional years of training in a chosen field, followed by a certification exam. Once certified, the veterinarian becomes a diplomate and is considered a board-certified specialist.

As a mainly referral-based specialty practice for dogs and cats, we supplement the excellent care provided by your primary veterinarian with our expertise in advanced diagnostics and surgical procedures. We strive to combine a caring touch with state-of-the-art technology and in-depth knowledge to give your pet the specialized attention they need.

Our core services include:

Each of our treatments is designed to alleviate discomfort and improve the quality of life for your pet. In addition to our primary offerings, we provide pain management and in-house pharmacy services.

Referring Veterinarians: Why Partner With VSCS?

VSCS understands that our services are only as effective as the relationships we build with referring veterinarians. Our focus is on an integrated veterinary care model designed to deliver consistent and uninterrupted service for the pets in our joint care.

One of the cornerstones of this collaborative effort is clear, open communication. By working closely with you, we aim to make the referral and recovery process as seamless and efficient as possible.

Our Story

Veterinary Specialty Center of Stillwater was created through a vision shared by Dr. Dugat and Carey. We're commited to caring for your pets with cutting-edge technology, veterinary expertise, and compassion.

“Dr. Dugat performed a PLDA on Smokey in August 2021. It’s absolutely the best decision that I could have made for him. For us PLDA was the only way to protect him from himself and let him be a dog. Recovery was pain free and relatively short. Thanks Dr. Dugat!”
